2004.5 Cummins 5.9 Sinister Diesel
I read a lot of diesel forums claiming that intake elbows and boost tubes on the 5.9 Cummins do nothing but look pretty but after purchasing this Sinister Diesel intake elbow and boost tube I am in disbelief at the gain I got. The install took about an hour and a half mostly because the original cold pipe was a pain in the butt to get out but all that aside after it was all said and done I took my truck for a cruise. I notice better low end right off the jump not too much in the middle but after I jumped on it on the freeway I went from 65 to 85 like nothing! I’m not big on hyping up shiny products and can only speak from my experiences. The only other upgrades are a MagnaFlow 5inch turbo back exhaust “no cat” and an aFe cold air intake. I would definitely recommend Sinister Diesel products and will be buying their turbo and hot pipe next. I'm a Sinister fan for life.
