"PFC" Performance Friction Brakes

Performance Friction

Since 1984, PFC (Performance Friction Corporation) has kept its leading position on the market by providing car owners with disc brake calipers, rotors, and pads of the highest possible quality. Today, Performance Friction brakes are the number one choice in motorsports. But the company also manufactures products for passenger cars, motorcycles, commercial vehicles and off highway applications. Starting with NASCAR and ending with emergency vehicles, Performance Friction delivers the finest brakes on the market.

The company’s history of innovation started with introducing of revolutionary non-asbestos friction material under the CarbonMetallic brand. Today, Performance Friction CarbonMetallic brake pads are widely used worldwide. Those brake pads outperform ceramic and semi-metallic pads offered by the industry in noise testing, while delivering better performance throughout the operating temperature range. The coating resists salt, brake fluid, and other common contaminants in the field, resulting in a longer lifespan.

When CarbonMetallic brake pads are paired with the company's Zero Failure rotors, they provide twice longer service life over the competition. The prolonged lifespan of a rotor and pads results in lower maintenance costs and fuel consumption. Performance Friction rotors have industry leading mounting designs that minimize thermal deformation. The product line of the company also includes a wide range of calipers that are consistently stiffer throughout the operating temperature range. The stiffness of Performance Friction calipers is achieved thanks to a monobloc design, innovative rocket nozzle insulators, and superior piston caps. The company also offers two types of brake fluid: RH605 and RH665. The first one is the finest choice for those drivers who use their vehicle in harsh environments; the second one is formulated especially for racing applications.
