Product Details

Universal MacPherson Strut Spring Hook Compressor by OTC®. These devices quickly and easily compress most sizes of MacPherson strut springs. Setup is fast and simple. Compression is achieved by alternating from one assembly to another. Each device has a heat-treated alloy thrust screw (5/8"-11 x 12") with forged hooks.

Awesome Tool
I have a Ford Sport Trac and did not want to pay $300 for the OEM specialty part. This OTC tool did the trick. I had to place in very particularly on the frame but once in place I had the torsion bar out, the lower control arm installed, and the torsion bar back in in and hour. Highly recommend this for the price conscious DIY.
