Product Details
Universal Spider LED Bulb (3157) (5104-001) by Oracle Lighting®. 1 Bulb, cool white color bulb, 15 LEDs. The Spider LED bulb features a smart, spring loaded design that allows it to fold close to fit through the opening made for a standard bulb. Once in place, the spider bulb opens up to reveal LEDs for an advanced technological look while delivering a bright light output for the ultimate safety, day or night.
These bulbs use BridgeLux Premium LEDs proudly manufactured in the USA. Oracle "Spider" LED bulbs feature spring-loaded arms that expand once the bulb is inserted into the light housing. This allows you to install a bulb with more LEDs into a light than ever before. Each of the 5 arms contains powerful LEDs. These Spider LED bulbs utilize Oracle LEDs which consume only 1/10th of the power of the factory bulb and put out no heat. These high-flux LEDs are rated at 100,000 hours for continuous use.
Turn Signal LED bulbs will require the use of a "Load Equalizer" in order to prevent "rapid-flash". If using this bulb in brake light, reverse light, running light, etc you will not need to add a load equalizer. The Spider Bulb is a direct OEM replacement that installs in no time.

Led Bulbs for '98 Venture
I can only relate to the installation experience. The bulbs would not fit. Both your associate and myself agreed that the bulbs would substitute for a 3157 bulb. However they would not fit into the socket. They were too wide. I don't know whether to file them down or return them. Your associate was helpful and courteous and ordering was easy. Your quick shipment was appreciated. Tim Schweri.

Look Great, Could Be Brighter
The end product looks fantastic. Wish they could he a bit brighter but that is the trade off for LED. One of my six lights ordered was broken at the arm, haven't contacted support to replace it yet, will update experience later. Most cars will need a LED regulator as these use so little power that most cars electronics will think that no bulb is present. If it used for turn signals it can cause the annoying fast flash to alert you a bulb is out, even though it isn't. The install wasn't as easy as I thought it was going to be. Kind of had to use the rubber band, that came with the bulb keeping the spring loaded arms down in closed position, to slide down the bulb as the band was on the lip of the light socket. After some trial and error it was doable. From the look of the product o assumed that you could just twist the light and it would release a spring that is not the case at all. You can adjust the final placement of the arms to obtain a clean, * star pattern so i guess that's something. For the price they are worth it even with the flaws.

Hyperflash
I bought front and rear turn signals brake lights. I had hyperflash and an inoperative passenger headlight as a result of installing the turn signals. The brake lights worked, but neither turn signal worked properly. Disappointed after waiting a month for them to be sent, not buy for 7th gen Camry.

Switchback LEDs
The info on using the resistors to adjust the power level required for these LEDs and to stop "hyper flashing" is confusing. I had to employ one on the "blinker wire", and the other on the "parking lights wire" (both sides = Four resistors). Also, I was unaware but, you must "index" the LED 180 degrees in the socket if it will not light up. But once installed, they work beautifully!

Bulbs
Despite assurances of pnp they will not work as direct replacement, either flasher needs updating or resistor package is required both blinkers flash, no matter which direction is selected even without choice they both flicker. Very disappointed.

Great Product, Great Price!
This product looks amazing in the night time and the installation took less than five minutes for both. I was skeptical about this product after checking other brands online and hearing about their bulbs causing rapid flash on turn signals. I took the risk and it’s been at least 2 weeks that I’ve had them installed and in use. I have not experienced any issues (rapid flash, bulbs going out, etc...). This is a great product and the price is definitely great!
