Lower Grille Insert by OER®. OER injection molded reproduction of the original lower grille assembly for 1969 Impala and full size Chevrolet models. Each grille is manufactured to exact specifications featuring silver paint with black accents. Upper grille is also available. See partt number 3929895.

Disappointed

Grill is not even close. All mounting points do not match up anywhere on the the truck and on the grill. Very disappointed in this product.

OER® 9793724 - Firebird 400 Grill

First off, these are not charcoal as OER insists. They are black. The overall molding and form are OK, but I passed on many other competitor brands and waited 6 months (back order) to get the grilles under the assumption they would be like the originals. They are not (I compared to my original 400 grilles, even taking into account sun fade and the like). GM licensing is a fallacy. So, I decided to live with the wrong color and install them. They assembled into the bumper OK, but once I mounted to a new bumper, the drivers side 400 chrome strip was angled 10-15 degrees up, so looking at the car from the front, the chrome strips running "towards" you were not even. So back apart they go, and I wound up drilling another mounting hole just below the original one to lower it. I was lucky that it worked because the strip covers the original hole. So overall, I am not overly impressed with these. Average fit, a need for modification, and most important to me, not charcoal.
