Black Short Hub Adapter (SRK-E46H) by NRG Innovations®. These units were designed specially for an aftermarket steering wheel installed with the quick release kit still mounts in the same location, not too close to the driver. Made from the highest quality aluminum. Short Hubs are made to work with NRG quick releases. This product is designed utilizing one piece solid construction for the maxim in durability and usability.

Installation

Installation

All products require professional installation. Buyer understands that some products may require modifications for correct fitment. Minor adjustments may be necessary as part of the normal installation process. All hoods require hood pins for safety reasons. All carbon fiber products will not sustain any force or weight, for they could be cracked by such force and weight. NRG Innovations has made an effort to produce all its aftermarket products to fit the original factory vehicles as closely as possible. However, some occasional prepping may be necessary for an ideal fit. The buyer needs to perform these steps to his/her satisfaction before installation. If the buyer wishes to paint the products, he or she must pre-fit the parts to the vehicle before painting to ensure proper fit. There are absolutely no returns on painted products.

This Is Exactly What I Was Looking for

NRG Innovations® - Short Hub Adapter

It is made out of good quality, you can never go wrong with NRG. I feel very confident having this on my car. The only thing I wish it came with is where the wires so the airbag won't come on and that's the only gripe I have because other kits that I seen come with it.

Needed Modification

NRG Innovations® SRK-160H - Short Hub Adapter

Although this product is supposed to vehicle specific but it was too short to be installed and I could hardly hold the wheel as I had to cut in the plastic to be able to install it and make the horn working. Accordingly, I had a mechanic fabricated an inch spacer. Other than, the product is fine although the turning left/right lights does not switch off automatically as before when I had the OEM steering wheel.

First Gen Mazda 3

NRG Innovations® SRK-175H - Short Hub Adapter

Only problem I have with this hub is fitment. Had to remove the trim pieces around the steering column because otherwise the hub would rub and make steering very difficult. Removed those and everything works great. Didn't bother hooking up the horn so I don't know how easy that is.
