Universal Manual 5-Speed Pattern Type-R Heavy Weight Shift Knob by NRG Innovations®. Diameter: 42mm. 480g / 1.1lbs. This product improves the overall look of the interior of the vehicle while providing some performance gain. Different shapes of the knob are ergonomically correct depending on shifting style. Weighted aluminum construction improves shifting by increasing inertial weight in order to allow shifter to more smoothly and quickly engage into the gear box.

Rusted
The screw hole was rusted and I couldn't even fit the screw in because it was rusted.
Although you get what you pay for, this is a heavy (substantially so), solid chunk of shiny aluminum. The only problem I had is that I lost the one screw it comes with. (There are 3 plastic adapters it comes with that become threaded when you twist the knob on, sounds cheap, and it is, but it works just fine) I just glued the knob to the adapter with Gorilla glue and it works just fine, and I'd recommend that even if you use the screw. Overall, I'd recommend it.

Shift Knob
Looks - look is great, white with red numbers quality - not as heavy as the Genuine Honda parts type-r shift knob, not the same shape as the Genuine honda knob, but very close, comes with three different inserts to install on different cars, but the inserts are plastic which was a let down. Install - install was easy, just choose the insert that fits your shifter, insert it into the knob and screw it down with provided screw, then thread the knob onto your shifter. The plastic inserts are not pre-threaded so it makes its own threads when you screw it onto your shifter, which was also disappointing. Also if you do not screw the insert down tightly into the knob it will move back and fourth even when its mounted tightly onto the knob.

Knob
The threads fit for my car. However, the stock shift knob had a clip on the end of it to attach to the boot, so I can't get the boot to attach to this knob. Do I have to buy a new boot, or what should I do to get the boot to attach to this new knob?

Quality Product
Great quality product. The finish and logo is flawless. The weight is perfect and comes will all the correct adapters to fit virtually any shifter. The packaging is really nice too. 10/10 would recommend!
