Product Details

NT420V Tires (205690) by NITTO®. LT315/45R22, Speed Index S - 112 mph, Max Load 3197 lbs, Tire Weight 66.14 lbs. Season: All Season. Type: Truck / SUV. This tire features a non-directional, asymmetrical pattern that provides confident performance, rain or shine. The outer shoulder has large, continuous blocks to improve dry traction, while the inner shoulder channels away water for wet performance. This feature ensures a quieter, more comfortable ride and longer tread life. The result is a comfortable, ultra high performance radial.

By incorporating computer-modeled designs for road noise reduction and a program that aids in enhancing dynamic contact points while driving, Nitto's engineers successfully identify and counteract undesirable responses of the tires in a variety of driving conditions. In addition, the tested technological advances in polymer tread compounds allow their engineers to deliver truly high-quality Nitto tires that provide extended tread life, improved traction on both wet and dry roads and inspire driver satisfaction.

I Really Wanted to Love This Tire!
First: I am a huge Nitto fan. I have NT01's on my Shelby Cobra and Terra Grappler G2's on my F350 and I love both! I was excited that Nitto offered a much more reasonably priced option for my 2019 Audi Q8, than the Continental, Michelin or Pirelli brands. I have now driven these tires over 2 thousand miles. I had hoped they would "get better". But, they are really loud at lower speeds (under 65mph) and still relatively loud at higher speeds. I have had the installer rebalance them in hopes of improvement, without luck. Their performance in heavy rain isn't as good as the OEM tires. On the bright side, they perform very well on dry pavement and are half the price of the other brands mentioned. Sorry Nitto!

Tires And Wheels / Leveling Kit
Love the service I got ordering tires rims and leveling kit, great prices, fast delivery. Tires are all they said, they'd be aggressive, yet quiet. Will be my go to store from this point on.

Perfect for daily & weekend warrior
Been running these for a couple months now and I get why everybody recommends them. Theyre quite comfortable on the highway. No hum like full mud tires but still grip well enough on muddy back roads. Sidewalls are tough no worrying about punctures. I've got 35s with a 3.5" lift on my F150, no rub, no trimming needed. CARID had the best price I found. Solid experience.

Grips well, quiet
They do everything well. Mud, rocks, snow - they grip. They're way quieter than my old MTs. Can still hear them a little, but for a tire this aggressive I can't complain a lot. They're not as rough as some other all terrains I've had. Thinking of buying again when these wear out.

Good Tires
Way better grip than the stock tires especially in the rain. Ride is smooth and they're not as loud as I expected for all-terrains. Capable when I take it on gravel roads and trails.

Awesome Hybrid Tire
Installed them on my 2024 Wrangler with a 2.5" lift, couldn't be happier! They look just like I expected them to and I love how they perform off road. Grip was fine even on loose terrain. On the road they ride well but do have a slight hum at highway speeds which is expected with a tire like this. Not a dealbreaker.

Best Mud Tire I've Owned!
I've run several different mud terrain tires on my 2012 Silverado 1500 Z71 but these are easily the best. Good traction, they grip in mud, loose dirt, and they don't feel sketchy on wet pavement. I expected them to be loud on the highway, but they're surprisingly quieter than other M/Ts I've had. Running them on 18x9 wheels with +12 offset.

Perfect
I take my 05 Explorer on light off road trails on weekends but I still need it to ride nice and smooth during the week. The Ridge Grapplers handle both like a champ! Grip is solid on dirt and gravel but they don't feel rough on the highway. road noise is way lower than I expected. very happy with them!
