Tapered cut ground electrode provides improved starting, idling and throttle response. The Iridium fine wire center electrode's durability is six times harder than platinum. A Must
Noticed a huge difference in the way my 2005 Maxima ran. Throttle response was increase along with mpg’s. 6th 231k on the odo.

Should Have Bought Local
I have used these plugs before. They worked great. Got to my place on time and in good condition. It is nice to speak to an American in this country when ordering things.

NGK Iridium IX Spark Plug
I could hear a difference almost right away once these were installed. Only took an hour due to removing all the items to access the engine, but once in they were a game changer that is for sure.

Perfect Spark Plugs
One of the best iridium spark plugs. Work flawlessly. The quality is high, the tapered thread seals the plug when you tighten it.

After Install
I finely installed these NGK 4998 plugs and I guess I was right. I now have a misfire on number 6 code so am going to put back my Bosch 9661. It might be the plugs or might not but thats the only thing different about the Jeep. I will will let you know after I replace them

NGK 4998 Plugs
After looking on the computer for a good price on NGK 4998 plugs for the Jeep I found CARiD which had a great price for them $6.75 ea. Every other web page was asking $10 to $15 ea, one site was selling them for $26.31 ea. Which really makes me wonder if these plugs are the real thing. Like the old saying goes if the deal is too good to be true it usually is not. So am really not in a big hurry to install these until I find out if these are real NGK 4998 or cheap knock offs that will destroy my motor.
