The company uses only OE type cores in the remanufacturing process and checks and tests all parts before the final assembly. Moreover, Nastra dissembles all units to ensure thorough cleaning and replaces all bearings and bushings with new heavy-duty components. Nastra’s remanufacturing process includes several essential steps to perform a high-quality job. All pulleys, bolts, and fans are zinc-coated to improve the appearance and prevent corrosion. The company uses high-temperature lubricants for alternators and starters to deliver free moving under high heat. Each rotor or stator is thoroughly checked and Hi-Pot tested at 100 volts before polishing, cutting, and balancing to verify solid insulation. What is more, Nastra uses computer load testing for their products to measure more than 100 parameters. When it comes to calipers, the company rebuilds both semi-loaded and loaded calipers for a variety of vehicles. All pistons are replaced with new ISO 9002 certified components that meet or exceed OE standards. All calipers come with all required hardware that is fully mounted when applicable.
