Universal Torsion Clips (1017A) by Mr. Gasket®. Designed specifically for track cars where pit stop time must be kept to a minimum. These 7/16"-20 thread torsion clips secure hoods with a competition look.

Be absolutely certain that your hood (or deck lid) can’t open inadvertently by pinning them shut. Many racing sanctioning bodies require this for competition, in fact. You can lighten your vehicle a few pounds by removing the hood latch mechanism and the cable and lever as well. A set of locking hood pins are a great way to prevent theft of easily-removable high-ticket items from underhood, like carburetors, distributors, alternators and ignition amplifiers, too.

Mr. Gasket warrants its products to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of original retail purchase.

The Warranty is granted to the end-user and applies to products which are purchased, installed, and used for the purposes for which they are originally designed. This Warranty covers defects arising under normal use and does not cover malfunctions or failures resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, or incorrect maintenance.

During the Warranty period, Mr. Gasket will repair or replace, at no charge, a product that is defective in materials or workmanship. Mr. Gasket reserves the right to either repair or replace a defective component at its discretion and reserves the right to substitute an equivalent product under the terms of this Warranty.
