Whatever exhaust system you install on your engine, whether it’s a set of chromed headers or simply a set of cleaned up flat black rams horn manifolds, you’ll need gaskets and manifold bolts.
Leaky header gaskets are a quick way to ruin a set of headers or even a cylinder head, as the hot exhaust gases erode their way through steel, cast iron or aluminum like a cutting torch. The way to avoid this is to use a fresh set of header bolts and a quality Mr. Gasket manifold gasket.
