Product Details

Steering Pitman Arm by MOOG®. This part is built to factory specs, so you can be assured that you're getting a quality product that will help to keep your vehicle's steering as precise as it was when it rolled off the assembly line. This problem-solving pitman arm gives you an exact fit and long-lasting service that other aftermarket parts can't provide.

The pitman arm connects the steering gear to the center link. There are two kinds of pitman arms, non-wear arms that have no moving parts, and wear pitman arms that have a ball stud and socket. One end of the pitman arm has a splined hole that fits on the steering gear sector shaft. The other end of the non-wear arm has a tapered hole to accept a tapered ball stud from the center link. Non-wear pitman arms are generally not replaced unless damaged in an accident or if the tapered hole becomes damaged. The ball stud and socket can become worn on wear pitman arms.

Moog Problem Solver products incorporate proven design and engineering features to ensure like-new steering, ease of installation, and extended service life. MOOG is the preferred steering and suspension parts brand of professional technicians. The replacement pitman arms by MOOG have been forged from premium materials to exact OE specs and they're capable of withstanding high stress conditions without breaking and leaving you stranded.

Great OEM Replacement
Replaced both inner tie rods on my 05 Grand Cherokee. Decided to replace both outers as well. After alignment the Jeep drives like new.

Moog. Need I Say More?
Well made, reliable part. When I see Moog on the box, I know its quality. More stickers would be lovely.

Solid
Makes my car feel safe to be on the road. No more drifting in & out of lanes from crown of the road. I really like the grease points or nipple.
