    Product Details

    Quick-Strut™ Front Driver Side Complete Strut Assembly (172393) by Monroe®. Quantity: 1 per Pack. This innovative replacement strut comes complete and ready to install. All of the most common wear parts are included so you’ll not only save installation time, your vehicle’s ride and handling will be restored for optimal performance.

    The Quick Strut assembly by Monroe includes all components necessary for strut replacement. This saves on installation time, and because all common wear parts are replaced, optimal ride and handling are restored. The installation procedure also becomes safer and easier because now the coil spring does not have to be compressed, which requires a special fixture. The strut assembly is made from high-quality materials to meet or exceed OE performance. For instance, coils springs used in Quick Struts are precisely calibrated to ensure correct ride height. Made from high-quality U.S. steel and painted or powder coated to resist rust.

    Other parts of the module also complement the ride control characteristic of your vehicle. The upper strut mount includes OEM-style bearings, superior rubber-to-steel bonding, and plated steel for longer wear. The new bearing plate of the unit is designed to improve steering and eliminate noises from worn out or damaged bearings. The upper spring seat is designed to complement the ride control characteristics of the strut and prevent noise and vibration from being transmitted into the chassis. Spring isolators prevent metal to metal contact between the spring and spring seat eliminating excessive noise. In total, all these components enhance handling, performance, and passenger safety.

    Quick Struts Are Worth The Price
    Monroe quick struts are worth the investment. Appearance - right out of the box they look incredible. They don't look as impressive as coil overs but these struts still look good for replacement parts. Performance- they perform very well too. My 2007 Nissan Altima has a smoother ride and my steering wheel doesn't shake anymore. They also seem to handle pot holes better than my original struts, but I still try to avoid them to last longer. Installation - the best thing about these struts though is that since they are per-assembled, they don't take very long to install. A friend of mine installed them for me and it only took him about and hour and a half (You might need a torch and spare front sway bar links since the bolts that hold the links to the struts tend to rust really bad and you end up needing to heat up the bolt to loosen it or just cut off the links and replace them. Also get an alignment once the struts are installed).

    Altima Coupe
    Had both fronts + alignment done for 225 at a local mechanic for 08 Altima coupe. Rides a little softer than the stock (spring perhaps) but much more forgiving on the NYC uneven roads.

    Much Needed
    Ever since i bought this spring kit my car feels just like the first day i drove my car out the dealership, brand new! What i love about this kit is that its better than factory spec. Its pretty much performance all the way around. CARiD price will beat other websites and less hassle, i promise you. I will always buy my car stuff here.

    I found these Struts here at a great price! They where shipped and delivered in a timely fashion. I will surely be checking here for more parts here as I had not previously tried this company out.. Struts are as described and arrived in good shape.

    Struts
    Rec on day was delivered to me. Sat in my front room till this Saturday and Sunday. Installed right front strut. Took till Sunday to finih front passanger side. What an ordeal. Seems strut working fine. I did find a small dent on the bottom pipe of strut. O well that's the hazards of delivery services. They don't care on being careful. They just throw boxes around.

    Nice Upgrade
    I have a 2007 Exp Eddie Bauer. STD size. Took out air ride years ago. These are the second set since the air ride. These are awesome. Makes the truck handle and ride better then new.
