I have a RWD RT and I installed the conversion kit getting rid of the nivomat self-leveling shocks. I replaced the front shocks and springs with Moog ST8628 quick struts which I like. The front rolls through bumps comfortably while the rear handles them but bounces too much for new shocks. I'm looking into possibly replacing the monroe rear shocks with Bilstein or KYB. I'm disappointed with Monroe's assertion that this spring/shock conversion kit is "tuned" for my car. I don't think so.

Easy Install, Complete Kit.
Was easy to install with some basic tools and a little help from a friend. Kit was complete and rides well. I suggest watching a YouTube video if you are trying this kind of work for the first time.

Great Upgrade!
Great product and at an affordable price!! I swapped it out myself on my 2006 Saab 9-7x Arc. The most difficult part was capping off the old air lines and sensors. The only draw back the kit is too universal. It fits the Trailblazer, Envoy, Rainier, and the Ascender, or whatever it is the point is, they all have higher ride heights so even after the springs settle your rear end still looks a couple inches higher. I made sure to keep all the air ride stuff in tact in case I decide to switch back. The ride, with the springs, however, is surprisingly nice. All in all its a good investment I imagine this kit will outlast replacing the air springs. I have yet to see how much I'll miss the auto-leveling when hooking up trailers, though.

Monroe® 90005 - Front and Rear Air to Coil Springs Conversion Kit
Used this Monroe kit on my 2000 Lincoln Navigator and I have no complaints. It works very well and was easy to install. I actually prefer this ride over the air ride I replaced.

My 2006 Saab 97x Transformation
They look great, although not really that visible, which is my preference. Yet, I must say that they provide a much more comfortable ride than the manufacturer's air bag system. I actually watched a video (online), to see how easy the installation would be, and in order to get an idea of what needed to be done when my mechanic did the work to convert from the old airbags, to the new coil system. Surprisingly, I had the coils, and a new set of brake rotors, installed for only $120.00 in labor costs. I highly recommend to anyone that is experiencing problems (such as sagging during rides, or time consumed waiting for the pumps to bring the rear suspension to the correct riding height), to invest in the kit to convert the rear suspension on their vehicles.
