The Eclipse is a sports car produced by the Japanese automobile manufacturer Mitsubishi Motors and marketed in the U.S. from 1990 to 2012. The Eclipse was designed in a 2-door liftback coupe / convertible body style and a front-engine, front / four-wheel-drive layout. The Mitsubishi Eclipse was equipped with a 1.8L 92-hp I4, a 2.0L 135-hp I4, a 2.0L 180-hp I4 turbo, and a 2.0L 195-hp I4 turbo with power being transferred to the wheels by either a 4-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Eclipse was a great sports car, very much loved by its owners, a great vehicle for modifications.
