The Mitsubishi Motors entered the US market in 1971 and started selling cars under its own name in 1982. The sporty Starion coupé was the Mitsubishi’s take on the compact GT sports car, destined to do battle with the renowned Supra, RX-7 and Z-series cars by other Japanese manufacturers. The 90’s have seen the introduction of the Eclipse and the 3000GT sport coupés, cementing the company’ reputation for powerful, exciting and agile cars. When the compact and sporty Lancer Evolution became available in the US, competing with the Subaru Impreza, Mitsubishi enjoyed a great deal of success with this model. Popular among the racing enthusiasts and extremely modification-friendly, Mitsubishi cars are created to deliver immense fun to the driver anytime, anywhere.
