Oil Filter Sandwich Plate by Mishimoto®. This Mishimoto Oil Sandwich Plate is a lightweight, high-flow sandwich plate that's used to regulate oil flow to the cooler until the engine is properly warmed up and allows for oil system protection in cold climates.

Whether you have a daily driven Vette or a built Mustang, proper oil temperatures are crucial for engine longevity and performance. Keep temperatures in check with the Mishimoto Oil Sandwich Plate with Rear-Mounted Thermostat.

This high-flow sandwich plate is constructed from lightweight CNC-machined billet 6061 aluminum, providing unmatched precision and quality. The internal oil thermostat will restrict flow to the heat exchanger until the activation temperature is reached; this provides improved warm-up while maintaining efficient cooling properties. Thanks to a small footprint and rear-mounted thermostat, this sandwich plate can be installed in even the tightest engine bays where the exhaust or other engine components create strict space constraints. The sandwich plate includes two 1/8" NPT ports for use with temperature or pressure sensors.
