Product Details

Baffled Oil Catch Can Kit by Mishimoto®. The VQ35HR is the ultimate evolution of the VQ35 series. The HR was built to be driven at the limit, but over a decade of daily driving and banging the limiter takes its toll. As the VQ35HR ages, it produces more and more blow-by, which makes its way back through the intake system and into the cylinders. More blow-by equals a higher chance of detonation, and the high-revving, high compression HR can't afford more risk. That's why Mishimoto has developed a baffled oil catch can for your VQ35HR-powered 2007-2009 Nissan 350Z or Infiniti. The 6’ of black rubber hose allows you to easily splice the black nylon ball valve into the hose wherever works best for you! The included 3/8” to 3/8” hose barb black nylon ball valve, which makes draining the can a breeze, and three worm-gear clamps make installing this petcock drain plug a breeze.

Mishimoto is proud to announce the release of Baffled Oil Catch Can. With over a year of research and development time, Mishimoto has created the most effective oil catch can on the market. The Mishimoto Baffled Oil Catch Can was designed to separate oil particles from the PCV air that would normally have just been routed back to your intake. Custom grooves in the catch can's inlet turbulates the air longer and ensures all the oil sinks to the bottom of the can, leaving nothing but clean air to pass through the bronze filter to the intake. An internal baffle keeps the collected oil from splashing around under race conditions.
