Power Steering Pump by Maval®. Maval power steering pumps come turn-key ready for installation. The pressure fitting and pressure relief valve of pump are inspected and existing seals and bearings and replaced with OEM seals and bearings. The rotor, cam ring, vanes and pressure plates are inspected and replaced as needed during the reman process. Each pump has the Maval part number etched into the housing as well a serial number for traceability.

Warranty

Maval products are covered by a Limited Warranty, during which its products are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship. The Warranty period begins on the date the product is delivered.

The warranty is granted to the end-user and applies to products which are purchased, installed, and used for the purposes for which they are originally designed. This warranty covers defects arising under normal use and does not cover malfunctions or failures resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, or incorrect maintenance.

During the Warranty Period, Maval will repair or replace, at no charge, a product that is defective in materials or workmanship. Maval reserves the right to either repair or replace a defective component at its discretion and reserves the right to substitute an equivalent product under the terms of this warranty.

Power Steering Pump for 3000GT

My original power steering pump for my 1993 3000GT VR4 was leaking power steering fluid and therefore required replacement. I also installed a new power steering pressure hose. It was a "bitch" removing the original parts and installing the new parts. But now that it's been in for about 2 weeks, it appears to be working fine. No more leaking. I hope the remanufactured pump by Maval and power steering pressure hose by Gates lasts as long as the original equipment did (26 years). If they do, I'll be dead and won't have to worry about putting in another one. And CARiD.com has already processed my core return credit. I appreciate their quick service.

Steering Correction

The Maval rack and pinion assembly was exactly the right one for our son's Volvo. It was ordered from CARiD and was delivered to our home in Florida the next afternoon! How did they do that? The unit looked like new and appeared much more stronger than the OEM and those of other manufacturers. The product information included left no doubt it was the correct fit. All necessary assembly brackets were included. A CARiD tech politely and correctly answered the few questions I had. They also sent RMA labels for returning the core free of charge. The only way this project could have gone any smoother would have been sending a tech to install it! Thank you, CARiD!

Power Steering Pump

The power steering pump I purchased was excellent for a re-manufactured pump! It looks a little different than the original but performs very good! I plan on doing more business with CARiD in the future. I look at this purchase process to have been excellent!
