Product Details

COURSER HTR PLUS Tires (177041004) by MASTERCRAFT®. 255/55R18XL, Speed Index T - 118 mph, Max Load 2271 lbs, Tire Weight 36 lbs. Season: All Season. Type: Truck / SUV. The Courser HTR Plus is an extension of the Courser HTR line featuring sizes for sport trucks and plus fitment sizes. This line is also well suited for those 20-inch original equipment replacements.

Industry-wide, typically, the same pitch sequence is applied throughout a tire line. But the Courser HTR Plus varies the number of shoulder elements based on the tire size, which reduces noise frequency and allowing a quiet ride. "See-through" grooves, wide, lateral traction slots and high sipe density provide excellent all-weather performance. A rubber rim protector extends beyond the rim flange and decreases the chance of rim damage that can occur if a tire/wheel assembly scuffs a curb.

You Won't Regret This Purchase!
This is my second set of these tires and whether I'm on a trail, a dirt road, a paved road, the interstate, in dry weather, rain, snow or ice (I don't normally drive on ice as nothing helps then except maybe chains) anyway the ride is great and they wear like iron! I got (with rotating) over 70k miles on the last set! Highly recommend these for any vehicle!

Great Tires
Excellent tires. Smooth ride, a little noisy but they are all terrains, great tread if you keep up with the rotate and balance, look good. Been a Cooper and Mastercraft fan for a long time. Haven't been disappointed yet. Recommend.

Jeremiah Mastercraft AXT
These tires are one of the best tires I have ever ran, they grip the road in icy road and have little to no noise runny down the road.

They are super quiet
I also have the 285/70/17's on my GMC Sierra. I've had them for 10,000 miles so far and they look like I bought them yesterday. They are super quiet and ride great. They do well off-road too.

COURSER AXT
Just put 265/75/16 size COURSER AXT on my Jeep Wrangler. Great tires so far. Good tread. Low noise on the highway. Both my sons are running them on their trucks also with no problems. Bought them here. Thanks, CARiD.

Awesome budget tires
I've been running these tires for a while now. They have an awesome stretch if you want to go that route. They have lasted pretty long for me. Overall, awesome budget tires, last very long, and stretch well.

I'd buy them again in a heartbeat
Put them on July 3. So far, love them. Towed our 8000lb trailer 600mi round trip 2 days after putting 'em on. Drove the lease in dry conditions, no punctures or scrapes. So far, I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

The best tires in my opinion
I went through 3 sets on my old Tacoma 4x4. I had no issues so far. They have held up well and the tread is like brand new. The best tires in my opinion.
