If you are traveling more than 20 mph or so, air flowing naturally through the radiator is more than enough to keep your engine cool, even with the A/C on. Your viscous-coupled belt-driven radiator fan is simply unnecessary, power-robbing extra weight most of the time. The only time you need extra cooling airflow is when stationary at traffic lights or when you're moving slowly, like in heavy traffic.
