Magnum Truck Racks & Bed Accessories

Started by Bill Cleaves in a garage, Magnum is currently part of F3 MFG Inc. and runs a 50,000 square-foot facility in central Maine. With decades of experience in manufacturing truck accessories, the company keeps innovating new solutions for drivers who value a combination of thoughtful and functional design with extra durability. The brand is probably best known for its Headache racks available for any truck model. They were invented to protect the rear window of a truck from damage caused by things shifting in its bed.

But what’s more important, they prevent various pieces of gear such as a hammer, lumber, etc. stored in the bed from slamming forward, breaking a rear window, and crashing into the cabin thus causing injuries to the driver and passengers. Along with their protective capabilities, the above-mentioned Magnum truck racks make a vehicle look more rugged. To meet the varying needs of customers, they come in a great number of series including EC, Service Body, Sport, Low Pro, High Pro, and others, each of which has its advantages.

To wit, as their name suggests, Service Body truck racks are built to fit service body trucks. The Low Pro models can be used with a tonneau cover and come with reverse, signal, and brake lights. The High Pro racks offer all that along with a higher height, while Sport versions boast integrated LED stop, turn, and backup lights. For those drivers who want to tailor their rack to their particular needs, there is a variety of Magnum truck rack accessories including antenna brackets, utility flood lights and light bars, warning lights, etc. The company’s lineup grows year after year to include new solutions for truck owners. For instance, aside from all the above-mentioned products, Magnum also offers bed rails designed to be installed on each side of a bed giving a vehicle more rugged looks. Besides, you can tie your cargo to them with ropes or cables thus preventing your possessions from shifting in the bed and falling out of it.

Wish I Got This Sooner
I use my truck for landscaping so I needed something durable for carrying equipment and keeping the back window safe. This rack checks all those boxes. It's tough, fits well and looks clean. Just wish it didn't cost so much.

Built Solid
I got this to protect the back of my cab when Im hauling long lumber and pipe. So far it's handled everything without a scratch. it's low profile enough not to block the rear window.
