MAG-HYTEC uses magnetic drain plugs that act as an open filter, which traps and holds dangerous ferrous particle debris generated by worn metallic components in transmissions and axles, promoting fluid integrity. With MAG-HYTEC products, you’ll get an average of double the fluid capacity and easy maintenance. The knurled dipstick is easy to take off and the flat is marked low/high to check fluid level. The MS 7/8 - 14 THD port is large enough to use for filling. The drain plug is the same MS port as the dipstick. The 1/8 pipe THD is the sending unit fitting, which comes with a stainless pipe plug. The MAG-HYTEC’s calibration plug is centered on the serial number plate and allows the original cover fill plug for factory fluid level. Plus, all MAG-HYTEC components are fitted with ARP 568 O-rings for tight, impact-resistant sealing and complete with rock-solid 303 stainless steel hardware to ensure everything stays in rock-solid place. The O-ring is snapped into the inverted "V" groove for a positive seal without the need for a gasket or silicone.
