Lumen® 86-1001120 - Smoke Factory Style Fog Lights

Product calm in in a timely manner and when i received it, it was awesome and especially when i found out that it came with the fog lights already. CARiD is the place i get all my vehicle parts and highly recommend it.

They are great and do a decent job and come with bulbs, but CARiD recommend getting some led bulbs for them and they mount right where they should be on my 2000 Silverado my truck had em at one point but previous owner must've taken then off so i ddnt have the bolts to put them on the bumper and had to purchase my own bolts and nuts but it does include an adjustment bolt for the light.

It was a perfect replacement that I wanted and easy to install and fast delivery and the same as factory part.

At first glance, these fog light appear very nicely made and there are things about them that are absolutely top notch, but there are warts. The first complaint is one common to all the various vendors of 2006-2007 Accord fog light kits and that is the wiring harness. They have all gone cheap and now include a "universal" harness and a cheap 3rd party switch that does NOT match the OEM fit or appearance. The "universal" wiring harness was a toss item other than the section that connects the fog light at the front of the car which I was able to incorporate into the OEM based under hood harness I had to create. The next wart is the installation hardware (ie screws, etc) was missing the spring nuts (2ea side) Then I realized that the fog light aim would NOT adjust. The housing pivot points are set too far back, pushing the bulb housing against the trim bezel with NO clearance for adjustment (flaw in housing design). Removing the plastic trim from the housing lens created sufficient clearance. Related to this, they assembled the aiming screw COMPLETELY wrong with the screw on the front of the plastic bezel access hole rather than behind it. The problem was easily fixed with the simple addition of a couple of small flat washers. Now the plus side, the mounting hardware is heavy gauge powder coated steel and is OEM fit and finish. The plastic trim bezel is high quality and an exact fit. I ordered the smoke lens (glass BTW) and they are exactly as I desired . The bulb housing is heavy metal and the lens is glass. I also applied a thick, self healing, protective film over the glass lens as a precaution to rocks cracking the glass lens. So, it might seem that I found WAY more wrong than right with this kit, but that is not really the case. I had the opportunity to compare to a couple of other similar kits and this one is simply better constructed, even with the warts.
