Pro Gold Performance™ Clutch Kit by LuK®. LuK Pro Gold Performance is available for selected high-torque and commercial vehicle applications. Each kit includes a premium-quality, high performance clutch and disc assembly, release bearing, pilot bearing (if required) and alignment tool. For the ultimate tuner experience, specify an ultra-light, T6 aluminum LuK flywheel. This combination gives you more useable horsepower, faster acceleration and longer engine life.
Upgrading a vehicle to meet the challenges of extreme conditions requires an upgrade to a performance clutch. Engine, suspension, tire and gearing modifications require clutches with a higher clamp load and torque capacity than a stock clutch can deliver. LuK Pro Gold Performance™ is a high-performance clutch set that’s engineered – not modified – to handle the torque, heat and punishment of extreme conditions without sacrificing clutch life.
The clutch disc is the clutch’s central connection element. In combination with the clutch pressure plate, it both separates and links engine and powertrain. It also reduces the speed fluctuations in the gearbox caused by the combustion motor. LuK offers the best solutions for every application, from clutch discs with simple torsion damper through to variants with multi-stage dampers, from rigid clutch discs for use in the dual mass flywheel right through to the displacement correction clutch disc.
