Locking hubs are used on 4WD automobiles and allow for shifting from 4WD to 2WD, when 4WD is not needed. This reduces friction and also improves fuel economy to a certain extent. Another benefit these parts can offer is saving front axle parts from excessive wear and tear. With regard to the kind of automobile you own, you may have auto locking hubs or manual locking hubs. As their name implies, the former engage and disengage automatically when you shift from 4WD to 2WD and back. The latter require you to perform this procedure manually.

Apart from improved fuel efficiency, locking hubs can also give you other additional benefits, such as quieter operation of your auto and reduced vibration in wheel assemblies. That’s why drivers are encouraged to maintain their locking hubs in perfect operating condition. If your 4x4 locking hubs need to be replaced, you can turn to our store for optimal replacement parts. Engineered with attention to every detail, our top-grade products will not only help you repair any malfunction, but also bring the ride quality to a new level. If your vehicle is capable of more, why not reveal its peak potential?

Mile Marker
Made from reinforced stainless steel with zinc coating in some places. Easy rotation. Installation took about 15 mins only. Perfect item.

Mile Marker 5 Hole
I've used Mike Marker for years on my Flatty with no issues, so I bought them for my kid's '85 CJ7 to replace the OEM that had cracks. Only complaint would be that they don't come with bolts for the installation, but that is not a big problem.
