When considering how important a hood is to the form and function of your vehicle, it's obvious that even a slight bit of damage warrants a replacement. Your crossover has a contemporary aerodynamic design that allow the stock Cyclone or EcoBoost GTDI V6 engine to conserve fuel at highway speeds. A dealer hood can cost well over a thousand dollars to replace – and that's before paint and installation! The flashy design of the MKT's hood makes it hard to replicate, which bodes well for the dealer and their service department. However, we have another, more economical alternative for you today which doesn't require any compromise on your part.

Our “Replace” hood panels are every bit as good as the damaged hood on your SUV used to be. Replace uses top-grade aluminum sheeting, made from the highest quality base metals, and will receive a protective black primer finish once completed. The 0.0478” sheet stock is tested for structural integrity before and after production, and always colled-rolled to prevent the loss of strength and rigidity that happens when you heat thin sheet metal (this should be an industry standard practise, but sadly it isn't used by all manufacturers). Replace MKT hoods are so much like the original that you can easily install it yourself if you're a mechanically-inclined person.
