Nicely Done Rebuild
I received the Lares 1177 steering gear box a few days after placing my order. It appeared to be very well done, and worked very well after I installed it.

Chinese Garbage
I bought this gear based on price and completely regretted my purchase from day one. Caused my steering to be drifty and also had a creaking noise that sounded like an old ship. After a few months, I bit the bullet and bought a new, US made PSC gear. My steering instantly felt like new and was rock solid. The only item I replaced was the steering gear itself. No other steering component was responsible for the problem. Please learn from my mistake and don't buy this absolute piece of garbage.

The one I got was an OEM part from Mopar, rebuilt. It worked great, installed quickly, and very happy.

Works Great - That's What Counts
I've done a few of these before, so it gets easier each time. There isn't much room to work on this style. The Lares pump is a good brand. Works great & that's what counts.
