Hyper Series Red Radiator Cap (SK-C13) by Koyorad®. Finish: Red. Extract every ounce of cooling efficiency from Koyorad all-aluminum performance radiators with a genuine Koyorad Hyper Cap! This Koyorad Hyper Cap withstands an increased valve pressure rating of 1.3kgf/cm2 (1.3 bar) (18.9 psi) (130 kPa) which increases the boiling point of water and relieves high-performance engines of excessive heat. A genuine Koyorad Hyper Cap is recommended for use with every Koyorad all-aluminum performance radiator (when applicable). This Koyorad Hyper Cap is manufactured in Japan from high-quality components to ensure longevity and performance from your Koyorad Racing radiator.

Why is increased Pressure Better?

It’s simple. When water is pressurized, its natural boiling point is increased. Most modern vehicles are equipped with a 0.9 Bar pressure cap. Koyorad’s Hyper Cap is rated at 1.3 Bar which increases the boiling temperature of your coolant to 267.80 degrees Fahrenheit. That is nearly a 56 degree increase over water's normal boiling point. By increasing the boiling point of water, an engine's cooling system will have the added heat capacity, maximizing performance under ever-changing racing conditions.

Warranty

Subject to the obligations and exclusions below, Koyo Cooling Systems, Inc. (Koyo) warrants that the Koyo-brand OEM replacement radiators (the Products) will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for 18 months from the date of sale of the Product to a Koyo authorized supplier in the United States. Koyo will, at its sole absolute discretion, either repair or replace a Product with a new or rebuilt Product (which Product may include new and/or reconditioned parts) if found by Koyo to be defective in material or workmanship. All replaced or refunded parts will become the property of Koyo.

Obligations
In order to obtain warranty service, you must deliver the Product, together with the original dated sales receipt describing the Product, to and pick it up from a Koyo authorized service center within the warranty period at your expense.

Exclusions
This limited warranty is not transferable to any third party, including but not limited to any subsequent purchaser or owner of the Product. This limited warranty does not cover, and is void with respect to: (i) improper installation, storage, repair, maintenance, modification, defects or failures due to misuse, neglect, negligence, abuse, accident, physical damage, improper handling or shipping, abnormal operation or operation contrary to furnished instructions or warnings, exposure to fire, water, excessive moisture or dampness, or any substance inside or outside the operating system, or extreme changes in climate or temperature; (ii) cosmetic damage; (iii) Products on which serial numbers have been removed, altered or rendered illegible; (iv) cost of installation, removal or reinstallation; or (v) damage resulting from fire, flood, or other acts of God or other acts which are not the fault of Koyo.

KOYO SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, GENERAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS OR ANTICIPATED PROFITS ARISING OUT OF USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE ANY PRODUCT. REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT, AS PROVIDED UNDER THE WARRANTY, IS YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR BREACH OF THE LIMITED WARRANTY. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AND IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANT ABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KOYO MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS, INCLUDING, BUT NO LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTY AGAINST INFRINGEMENT.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This limited warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Koyorad All Aluminum Racing Radiators are not covered under this limited warranty.
