77 Series High-Flow Performance Aluminum Polished Cold Air Intake System (77-1549KP) by K&N®. The K&N high-flow performance air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing on your vehicle are replaced by this K&N air intake system which is designed to dramatically reduce air flow restriction as it smoothes and straightens air flow.

The improved air flow allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than it would from the stock air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout your engine’s RPM range. The air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has an attractive chrome-like finish that's made to last and it accommodates the factory mass air sensor and a couple of replacement silicone crank case vent hoses. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less. Some K&N 77 series air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Check the vehicle applications and specific CARB status for each vehicle and air intake.

How Long Does the Coverage Last?

This warranty lasts for 10-Years or a Million Miles, whichever comes first, from the date the product was purchased. The warranty period will not be extended if we repair or replace the Product.

Semi-Easy Install

The product fits perfectly as intended. However, the directions are confusing at first because the pictures do not make sense according to what is being instructed. After an hour of figuring out the gibberish, it was easy to piece everything together. Vehicle runs better with it and gets up to speed quicker than before. Gas mileage improved slightly as well.

Go Fast In a Box- Just Add Hemi!

The unit arrived in perfect condition- good packaging. Instructions were easy to follow and concise, I didn't even have to go to YouTube to see it done! This thing fits nicely and looks fantastic. I've show it to several friends who were all very impressed. I think I may have sold a couple of units! Performance increase is undeniable- especially off the line and when passing. It gave my jeep a throaty howl when I open up the throttle body, but it's still quiet under grandma driving conditions (like when there's a cop next to you). I haven't had it long enough to tell about mileage. I'm having so much fun listening to it open up, mileage has probably gone down, but once I get over myself and drive without my foot on the floor I'm sure that too will improve! All the other claims made by K&N are absolutely true! I recommend this product highly! There is no other type of product that will make this much difference for just a few hundies. Talk about bang for the buck!
