King Engine Bearings’ production process starts with in-house casting of unique alloys. The company's R&D department adapts the technologies for engineering and implementation of ground-breaking bearing materials such as heavy-duty aluminum alloys, lead free and ultra strong bronzes. The manufacturer uses 2 advanced technologies, such as Steel-Bronze Strips and Steel-Aluminum Strips. The latter technology includes continuous casting of different aluminum bearing alloys in form of coiled strips, which are then rolled, bonded to steel strips and annealed for ensuring excellent adhesion and strength. Steel-Bronze Strips are built in continuous sintering furnace of the tunnel type. Such substantial investment in new technologies results in a broader range of bearing sizes and features.
