The service equipment purpose-built for commercial auto repair shops and large garages differs from what can be perfectly suitable for upkeeping one or two personal cars. While a simple basin and couple of wrenches are mainly enough to drain oil from a car, a dozen or more vehicles per day will require something more effective. JohnDow portable oil drains include both steel and polyethylene reservoirs designed to store from 8 to 27 gallons of oil. Meant to be used under a lifted vehicle, most of them feature a high funnel, a special sight tube allowing you to know how much oil there is inside, caster wheels, and valves to connect to a fluid evacuation system.
Besides, there are low-profile oil drains designed for heavy-duty trucks, buses, and RVs. Exhaust removal is another common issue in automotive service facilities, as many diagnostic procedures require the engine to be operating. JohnDow offers overhead, in-ground, and other kinds of exhaust extraction systems designed to rid both mechanics and customers of smoke and harmful exhaust gases.
