The company was started in 2003 by Jay Tucker, a body shop mechanic whose passion was to build custom performance cars. After he faced the problem of finding the appropriate powerful intake, he decided to make an application of his own that ended up in a highly performing product. That’s when JLT Performance was created with the main goal of providing unique solutions to automotive enthusiasts.

Over two decades, the company has evolved from a small individual enterprise into a true performance parts supplier with its own dedicated customer base. The brand boasts numerous accomplishments as its products have helped to power a number of record setting cars assembled by Kenny Brown Racing, Evolution Performance, etc. JLT products are manufactured in the U.S.A.
