JLT Performance Cold Air Intakes & Tuning Parts

JLT Performance is home to one of the most efficient cold air intakes and oil separators on the market, developed for late-model Camaro, Mustang and other high performance vehicles. The company was started in 2003 by Jay Tucker, a body shop mechanic whose passion was to build custom performance cars. After he faced the problem of finding the appropriate powerful intake, he decided to make an application of his own that ended up in a highly performing product. That’s when JLT Performance was created with the main goal of providing unique solutions to automotive enthusiasts.

Over two decades, the company has evolved from a small individual enterprise into a true performance parts supplier with its own dedicated customer base. JLT Performance parts are acknowledged by leading tuning companies such as Diablosport, SCT, Super Chips, and Hypertech. The brand boasts numerous accomplishments as its products have helped to power a number of record setting cars assembled by Kenny Brown Racing, Evolution Performance, etc. JLT products are manufactured in the U.S.A.

JLT Performance cold air intakes were the first products in the company’s assortment, but through the years, the product line has extended and now the brand offers tuners, supercharger & idler pulleys, air filters, different carbon fiber components, and much more. JLT also has a variety of underhood dress up kits for those who want to make a statement while showing off the engine bay. The company never stops innovating; they are in constant search of fresh ideas for improving performance and setting the new benchmark in the industry.

Getting It Installed Today On My 2018 Mustang.
The mechanic said it looked like a good cold air intake and should add some ump and sound to the 2.3 turbo. He thought maybe 10 to 29 percent more power. I told him I thought 10 percent would be pushing it. That would make approx 340 hp. we will see.

Easy install at 55,000 miles. After 3,000 miles the can had about half a millimeter of light clear golden fluid and a few specs of carbon. I believe it's doing what it's supposed to.
