Jeep Wrangler Off-Road Rear Bumpers

Jeep Wrangler Off-Road Rear Bumpers

The Jeep Wrangler is one of the most iconic Jeeps ever, representing the dream off-roader for many outdoor enthusiasts, both professionals and weekend warriors. Unveiled in 1987, the Wrangler traces its roots to the Willys Jeep MB that was brilliantly soldiering with allied troops during World War II. The Wrangler features the same reliability, robustness and off-road performance, wrapped in a similar rugged and military-like styling. The model was revised in 1997 and then in 2007, when the current generation was launched. Although maintaining the rough appearance, the new Jeep Wrangler comes with more comfortable cabins compared to the previous versions, introducing as well cutting edge technologies in regard to the overall safety and connectivity. In 2011, a new array of engines was developed, offering better performance and fuel efficiency.

If you use your Jeep Wrangler in heavy off-road situations, OE bumpers might not be appropriate as they are designed for a more standard and common use. We offer a very large assortment of top quality Jeep Wrangler off-road rear bumpers, built by top ranked and specialized brands in the aftermarket, such as Body Armor 4x4, JcrOffroad and Mountain Off-Road Enterprises. Also we provide a useful and qualified customer service, available for more detailed info at the help center on our website.

Jeep Wrangler Off-Road Rear Bumpers Reviews

5 reviews
I have owned this bumper for two years. It gets light duty and has performed well under those conditions. However, today I decided to use the 2" receiver to pull a small trailer (1875 lbs with a tongue wait less than 180lbs). I inserted my ball mount and the hitch pin holes don't line up! What DV8 forgets to tell you is that while the bumper fits the JK fine, it makes it impossible to use any hitch mount unless it is custom made. The problem is the standard distance from the back end (Jeep side, not trailer side) of any ball mount to the center of the hitch pin hole is a standard 2.5" for all ball mount makers. But this bumper has a receiver that is too shallow making it only 2" from the end of the hitch mount to the center of the hitch pin hole rather than the standard 2.5". That means all off-the-shelf ball mounts are unusable because the hitch point holes in the receiver and the hitch pin hole in the ball mount don't line up! The bumper is fine as long as you never want to tow anything.
