Almost Perfect

Iron Cross® 648-8286 - 5" Patriot Series Cab Length Polished Running Boards

These running boards are great, I specially like the folded flag on the side of the steps. Everything was going perfect untill I encountered the bolts and nuts the kit comes with. The quality of that hardware was not what I had expected from an Iron Cross. The nuts locked in the threads of the bolts and the St of nuts that should have come for the brackets were the same as the ones in the locking shims that hold the board in place. Something that should have taken an hour tops to install took a lot longer plus some banged knuckles and replacing more that half of the bolts and nuts that are used to hold the board in place on the brackets. If the hardware to install the he boards is improved, I think the product will get a lot better.

Very High Quality Boards

Iron Cross® 648-8274 - 5" Patriot Series Cab Length Polished Running Boards

These Iron Cross Patriot boards are very high quality boards and look very nice on my new-body 19 Ram quad-cab. They fit nicely and feel very sturdy and strong. I contacted Iron Cross about some of the nuts having different threads versus the factory studs and they were able to remedy the issue completely. I also like the fact Iron Cross supports the veterans! I would buy these boards again.
