Product Details
Tachometer Rebuild PCB by Intellitronix®. This is a reproduction of the original but upgraded from the cheap material that GM and some of Intellitronix competitors used on the original boards. What this means is that the components are soldered on both sides thoroughly insuring 100% vertical fill, making the chances of a solder connection problem developing down the road are a lot less likely. An ENIG process is used, and the board has a PCB finish. On 1980 to 1982 Corvettes, the integrated printed circuit board is the culprit on 95% of non-working tachs. Replacing the PCB can be accomplished with ordinary hand tools by a competent do-it-yourselfer. Pre-Tested and Calibrated!
