iD Select® - Front and Rear Shock Absorber and Strut Kit

Replaced the strut assemblies in my 2018 Audi A6. My ride is stable and comfortable again. They seem to stay sturdy and have worked excellently for a couple of hundred miles. Fit like a glove. Finished the installation in no time flat. They’re a money-saving investment. They look and function the same as my old ones but the price is more attractive. Happy that I found them.

Never had any issues with CarID before but unfortunately this was disappointing. These were out of stock for a while and I was waiting for them specifically as I did not want to go with Unity struts since I've had bad experiences with them with ride height discrepancies and ride quality as a mechanic for 7 years and did not want to risk it. These are Unitys in a blank box. CarID must have forgotten to take the Unity sticker that goes over the strut mount nut. Just a bit disappointing unfortunately.

Decided to get new strut assemblies for my 2012 BMW x5. Great quality. Installation was a breeze. They’re the right ones. Fit and function perfectly. Have a smooth driving experience again. They’re a great replacement for my old strut assemblies. The price is fine. Hope them last as they seem to be well made and durable. Time will show. So far, highly recommend them.

Bought these complete strut assemblies for my 2010 Dodge Ram. Came fast and in good condition. Haven’t installed them in my vehicle yet but they look sturdy and nice. Made with quality in mind. So, overall I’m pleased with them and expect them to function great.

I’ve got these strut assemblies online. Saved my time. It was very easy and quick. Well, they’re much better than my previous ones. More robust and heavier. Quality replacement components at an affordable price. Had them professionally installed. Work well in my 2008 Ford F150. The ride is smooth and noise free. I like them.

I purchased the struts assemblies after verifying year make & model of my 08 Jeep Grand Cherokee. When I received them in from the carrier, upon inspecting the product, they seem very heavy, and durable compared to the set I had on my truck already. Celebrated too early. After the mechanic installed the struts, I immediately noticed at least a 2" drop on my front end. Now my tires are rubbing on very little bump I hit. It's tearing up an $800 set of tires....!!! They said manufacturer confirmed guaranteed fit. They offered no resolution other than a refund. Now I'm out a few $100s for labor to install, remove and reinstall.

This one does the job. Fits perfectly on my 2016 s8 and rides just like the factory one. Saved me a ton compared to the dealership.

I ordered rear shocks for my 2014 Cadillac Escalade. I actually called in the order in by talking to a sales representative. I gave the person my vin number and the OEM part number. The person stated that these shocks will fit your Escalade. So, I ordered them and received same. Prior to spending money to have them installed, I called and asked another representative if I had the correct part? Why I did that I don't know, just did it. Well, the part was not correct fit for my Escalade. So, ordered another shock that was confirmed to be the correct ones. Here is where my complaint comes in. I asked for a return document (RMA). After approximately a week I finally received the RMA. I immediately returned the incorrect shocks which I didn't remove from the original box. It took me over a month to finally receive my refund. I had to call numerous times to CarID and finally got my return. Their return policy is very bad. It should not take over a month to get your return when it wasn't my fault, I received the wrong part. Mostly 5-7 days is max. Bad, very bad experience with return of item. The correct shocks are perfect as I have rated. The return time for refund is my complaint only.
