This 2-door coupe is a sleek sports car, marketed towards people who wanted the thrills and looks of a sports car, but who wanted to stick with a reliable name like Honda. The Prelude was in direct competition with the Toyota Celica, the Mitsubishi Eclipse, and the Nissan Silvia. The Prelude was discontinued in 2001 after a long production run, and was replaced with the Honda Integra DC5.
