    Product Details

Door Lock Striker by Goodmark®. Allen Head Bolt with Collar. The doors on classic and muscle cars are different than other body panels in that they can not only suffer from visual deformities like dents and rust, but they're also subject to operational maladies like worn hinges, sticky window cranks and binding locks. Unlike fenders and quarter panels, doors must appear and function properly. To make sure the doors on your classic or muscle car look their best and work like new, you need replacement door components from the restoration experts at Goodmark.

Car doors seem to be magnets for the edges of other car doors, shopping carts and bicycles. No matter how well you take care of a vehicle, the doors' once smooth surfaces are soon pockmarked with dings and dents. And many doors have water drainage issues that can eventually be revealed by rust and rot. But doors must be more than body panels, they must also perform properly. Unfortunately, with age, doors begin to sag on their hinges, door locks start to bind and windows become a chore to crank.

If the preceding describes the doors on your classic or muscle car, then you've come to the right place. Goodmark replacement doors and door hardware will make your doors appear and operate like brand new. Restoring cars isn't just a business for the people at Goodmark, they're also car enthusiasts and restorers just like you, and they wouldn't make anything they wouldn't install on their own cars or trucks. Each door is CAD/CAM designed to make sure it exactly replicates the original panel, then it's manufactured with the most modern tooling. Each design is test fit to make sure it looks and fits perfectly. Many Goodmark parts have been approved by the manufacturers of the original equipment and are licensed to be sold as genuine replacement parts.

If your doors require complete replacement, Goodmark door shells feature full inner frames and outer skins, ready for assembly. Doors that are otherwise solid but marred by dings and dents, can be restored to like new appearance with Goodmark door skins. And if you want to save a door with minor rust damage, there are Goodmark door patch panels.

Once your doors are back to looking new, don't reinstall all that worn out hardware! Far too many supposedly "restored" cars are out there with doors that look great but still function like they were on a worn out old clunker. Goodmark has all the door hardware you need to make your doors look and feel like new. Goodmark has new hinges or hinge repair kits to eliminate door sag; latch assemblies, latch remotes, strikers and handles to make your doors open and shut like a vault; and window regulators and crank handles for easy window up and down.

Besides the above, Goodmark also has vent window parts, moldings, weatherstripping and hardware to complete the job and make your entire door look as it did the day your car was assembled at the factory.

Great Deal With Goodmark Door Latch
I was skeptical that the latch would be correct for my El Camino, but it fits and works perfectly. The three rod clips were included and the new latch is well made and looks great. Very happy with this Goodmark product!

The Door Striker for 1971 Mustang
At first I thought it was a bit expensive, but... It made a total difference in how the door functions on the car. After removing the old striker, I found that it was not only missing the bushing, but also had a hairline crack. After installing the new striker, a three minute job. Ahh.. a job that actually took less time than planned. After some small adjustments, it worked just like a new door. Gives a totally different impression about the entire car, when the door simply goes "Thunk" rather than trying different ways to make it close properly. I bought the car a couple of months ago in Norway. It seems silly, but if the doors don't close properly, you begin to have doubts about other things on the car. So.... A well spent $50 bucks, for a quality product, that really is "Like New." Actually, I am so happy, that I am going to buy another striker, for the other side of the car. My "bad door" is now so much better than my "good door."
