Front Driver Side Door Shell
Front driver side door shell was the best fit with no problem.

1979 Camaro Door Skin
Item is stamped from OEM or very near to it gauge and incorporates all of the depressions and bends as original section. Excellent price and quick to ship, however my first order of a left and right skin were damaged beyond use due to minimal packaging and rough handling by the contracted carrier. I filed a product warranty claim with pics online and without further contact or question, my two door skins were replaced and this time wrapped much better and without damage. That’s pretty good customer service in my book.

1987 El Camino Door Shell
Looked good out of the box until it was placed horizontally in a well lighted area. I realize there is minor work/adjustments with any replacement door panel, but this one was in poor condition overall. Initial fit appears to be fine.

1977 Camaro Door Shells
Had to do some alignment to bolt holes to make fit properly, but overall, nice quality and shipping was easy and staff member Brett was very knowledgeable.

1971 Chevelle Passenger Door Shell
Door arrived well packaged and in a timely fashion. As with any aftermarket part, it required finishing before paint but is a good substitute for an OEM part.

El Camino Doors
I purchased to door shells (not just the door skins) from CARiD, I was delighted to see they were still available, they're not easy to come by. The doors are of good quality with a good solid feel to them. The sad part was they came dented to the point my body man wouldn't use them. I got 2 more & the same thing was wrong, corners bent & edges folded over. Again they went back. The 3rd set was usable but not perfect. The problem was not the doors it was the packing, The doors came in boxed in cardboard with no reinforcement for the corners or edges. The whole thing took about 6 or 7 weeks delay for me to get a set of doors over to the body shop. I have to pay to have them straightened out. The good thing is CARiD was co-operative throughout the whole experience & is issuing me a credit that will cover the extra cost of having them straightened.I was disappointed with the delay I had to put up with but I would & will order from CARiD again. It's not that mistakes were made it's how they were handled. I have no complaints w/ CARiD in that respect. I would have gladly paid a little extra to have the doors boxed with added protection. I hope this situation will be resolved for other customers. If so CARiD is a go to place for El Camino parts. Thom Baker.
