Remanufactured Throttle Body Injector by GB Remanufacturing®. Bring your vehicle’s fuel system back to its top shape with this top-notch part. Designed as a direct-fit replacement of your worn-out or malfunctioning part, it will provide easy, no-hassle installation and help restore proper fuel system functionality needed to keep your vehicle performing reliably, efficiently, and safely for many miles to come. This component is made to OEM standards so you can expect years of reliable function and hassle-free service.
The TBI (Throttle Body Injection) is an early style (80’s early 90’s) injection system that replaced carburetors. It sprays fuel just above the throttle plate in the throttle body. The incoming air then draws the fuel and air into the cylinders through the intake manifold. If the TB injector is malfunctioning due to leakage, electrical failure, or some other reason, it causes a variety of failure modes, from poor fuel economy to start problems. From a cost stand point new OEM or aftermarket injectors are an expensive proposition, especially when it comes to replacing an entire set.
If you need a cost-effective solution, GB is your number one source for remanufactured OEM injectors that meet all OEM specifications at a lower cost than either new original or aftermarket injectors. All injectors remanufactured by GB are exact OEM replacements, not similar or aftermarket parts, so the same fit, form, and function are guaranteed. Plus, GB carefully analyzes all failure modes and makes upgrades to prevent failure of the part in the future, so in many cases a GB Remanufacturing injector is better than new. You can't go wrong with the remanufactured throttle body injectors by GB as this company has been awarded the account to remanufacture GM TBI assemblies for a major supplier to the United States Government.
In the remanufacturing process, each injector is cleaned, degreased, and subjected to a coil resistance test. After that, the injectors are ultrasonically cleaned using state of the art equipment, reversed/back flushed, and put through a battery of tests such as spray pattern, leak down, flow rate tests, etc. Before the technicians install new components and make a final inspection, each injector is polished, clear-coated, and lubricated.
Established in 1986 with headquarters in California, GB Remanufacturing® provides rebuilt OEM fuel injectors for both gasoline and diesel applications, injector components, and diesel electronics to the automotive aftermarket. GB is also a trusted supplier of new fuel delivery parts. Since it was founded as a small family owned company by Mike Kitching and his father, William, GB has steadily grown to become a worldwide supplier of fuel system parts and the largest remanufacturer of fuel injectors in the USA. When GB remanufactures a product, it carefully analyzes all of the failure modes and makes upgrades to prevent future failure of the part whenever possible. It utilizes state of the art specialized equipment, including proprietary tools, to ensure that its customers receive the most reliable product possible.
