FC402 CATALYST Platinum with Chrome Lip Wheels by FUEL FUSION FORGED®. Introducing the all-new Fusion Forged FC402 Catalyst from Fuel Off-Road. Fuel have worked tirelessly to design and create a wheel that pushes the boundaries of forged wheel design, and the Fusion Forged series has taken Fuel to the next level. Each wheel is made from a lightweight 6061-T6 forged aluminum barrel and features an engineered cast center. The wheel’s barrel and face are joined together using a friction-based welding method called fusion forging. During this process, a spinning tool joins the metals by heating the atoms from both the barrel and center. The metals are then bonded in a welding process that requires no melting and is cold to the touch within minutes. The result is a wheel with all the benefits of forged construction with the intricate styling capabilities of cast counterparts
