Ford Lip Spoilers

I did not want to drill into my trunk so I ordered this spoiler that uses double-stick tape although you can also drill if you want. The instructions suggest you mark exactly where you want it on your trunk with masking or painter's tape. I applied the tape around both ends and another six inches towards the center of the spoiler. This step is very important in my opinion because once the spoiler is set in place you can't move it or, if you can, it would be very difficult. The tape used on the spoiler is extremely strong. I also applied adhesive sealant, which was recommended. I positioned the spoiler using the masking tape guide and pressed down. Went perfectly. As I rarely drive this car in inclement weather I won't know if rain affects the double sided tape but I don't think it will. I highly recommend this spoiler. It's not cheap but, being as how this is the only lip spoiler I have come across, the price didn't bother me and I very much like how it looks.
