Fog Light Bulbs

Although fog lights are standard equipment on some vehicles, they are optional on many others, and often new vehicle buyers don’t choose to purchase them. After all, if you live in a warm, dry sunny clime you rarely encounter fog so why spend the money? But if you drive in mountainous or coastal areas, or regions that experience significant snowfall accumulation, driving in dense fog is a regular occurrence and you know how invaluable fog lights can be.

Fog is one of the most dangerous driving conditions, but heavy rain and snow can be similarly hazardous. In all of these situations much of the light from your regular headlights is reflected back at you, which can impair rather than improve visibility. In contrast, fog lights are mounted low on the vehicle, and have a wide beam angled toward the ground, which reduces glare and enables you to better see the road ahead.

It’s obvious that lights so critical to your safety must be functional when you need them, but that doesn’t mean just replacing them when they fail. Although today’s Halogen bulbs last much longer than the regular incandescent bulbs of yore, they still wear and become dim over time, and the reduced illumination makes it difficult to see clearly in inclement weather. For safe foul weather driving, Halogen fog light bulbs should be replaced in pairs at regular intervals. We also recommend that you carry spares in your vehicle, so if a bulb unexpectedly fails while you’re far from home, you can still make the journey safely.

We offer direct replacement original equipment Halogen bulbs, but we also have Halogen bulbs with several degrees of increased brightness, as well as long-lasting LED bulbs, if you want to upgrade your lighting. Our replacement OE bulbs will fit the same and provide the same degree of illumination and durability as bulbs from a dealer, but at a much better price. And upgrading is easy, because our upgraded bulbs are manufactured to fit in the same location as the OE bulb and require no modifications to your vehicle.

Our upgraded Halogen fog light bulbs are available in color temperatures up to 8000K in a range of colors, from yellow to white, to bright white and ultra-white, to blue. These bulbs are up to 50% brighter, and cast a beam that is wider and extends further for increased visibility. The LED bulbs we have on offer are also significantly brighter, and in addition they have several advantages over incandescent bulbs. They’re insensitive to vibration, an important consideration if you regularly drive over rough roads or off-road, they consume much less energy, and they last as much as 25 times longer than incandescent bulbs.

Titan Upgrade!
I put this in my 2011 Titan fog lights and wow what a difference. I also put similar lights in my headlights high and low beam and it transformed my vision after dark. Only draw back is it seems to have an effect on the radio reception when the lights are on so the system does seem to interfere with FM radio stations.

Excellent Quality That Delivers
So far I am very satisfied with this purchase. These are beyond expectations in brightness. As stated in product description the back is slightly larger and custom modifications need to be made to ensure that water does not get into head light housing if you live in extremely wet climate. I too had some flickering as others described but I zip tied up the converter box in the rear that was bouncing around and have not had that issue since.
