Warranty

First Equipment Quality warrants its products to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 24 months or 24,000 miles. The warranty period begins on the date the product is delivered.

The warranty is granted to the end-user and applies to products which are purchased, installed, and used for the purposes for which they are originally designed. This warranty covers defects arising under normal use and does not cover malfunctions or failures resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, or incorrect maintenance.

During the warranty period, First Equipment Quality will repair or replace, at no charge, a product that is defective in materials or workmanship. First Equipment Quality reserves the right to either repair or replace a defective component at its discretion and reserves the right to substitute an equivalent product under the terms of this warranty.

2012 Volvo S80 T6 Shock Replace

As most Volvo owners learn you need to take care ordering parts. Get your VIN # and check fit carefully. Car ID made process easier. Bought these as part of a front and back shock replacement. Made installation easy and clean with Bilstein 4 Touring shocks. Parts arrived within days, were well packaged and in great shape. Technician thanked me for ordering the strut mounts at same time. One side had worn due to pothole which blew out the strut and damaged the mount. cheap insurance for a smooth replacement job. Visually inspect your tie rods and linkage when you do the repair and get it all done at once. Unless you are a serious mechanic, leave front shock replace to professionals. Rear is relatively easy.
