Universal Hood Pins by Extreme Dimensions®. With these hood pins by Extreme Dimensions you will get best of both possible worlds: greater security and more style. Designed with functionality and style in mind, they will prevent your hood from being opened when you are not around while adding a high-tech look to your automobile. These hood pins are manufactured from high-strength materials for unmatched performance and extended durability.

The manufacturer recommends that all custom hoods be secured with these hood pins. They ensure that the hood won't open inadvertently during vehicle operation. The vehicle manufacturer's hood latch mechanism was designed for the OEM hood. With the lighter weight and style of an aftermarket hood the latch mechanism may not operate in the same way. Hood pins provide an extra measure of protection.

Some aftermarket hoods are not made to be used with the OEM latch mechanism, and in these cases hood pins may be the only method available to secure the hood.

Warranty

All body kits and products sold by Extreme Dimensions, Inc. are aftermarket products and are intended for off-road or show use only. The brand is not liable for any damages or injuries as a result of the use of its products. Due to the material and processes used in production, products will not be a “direct bolt-on.” Extreme Dimensions, Inc. products may need prepping, sanding, shaving, filling gaps, and/or other body work. Modifications may include removal of the reinforcement bars, bumpers, turn signals, and other safety equipment on the vehicle. Extreme Dimensions, Inc. highly recommends that a professional “custom” shop with fiberglass body kit experience perform the installation. Auto shops experienced in OEM installations may not be experienced in aftermarket fiberglass installations. All products sold by Extreme Dimensions, Inc. are for off-road and show purposes only. Due to strict regulations by the Department of Transportation, some of these products are not approved for street/highway use. The brand does not recommend, and in fact discourages, these parts to be used on public streets and highways.

LIMITED WARRANTY

Extreme Dimensions, Inc. warrants its branded products to be free from manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials when used for their intended purposes. This limited warranty shall extend for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase to the original “end user” customer. This warranty is non-transferable. Any part of a Extreme Dimensions, Inc. product that is covered by this warranty and that is found in reasonable judgment to be defective in materials or workmanship will be replaced in full at the request of the customer. For example, Extreme Dimensions, Inc. will not replace a complete body kit if a single component is found to be defective. The following situations are not covered by warranty: Any Extreme Dimensions, Inc. product that has been subject to misuse, neglect, accident; or that has been improperly installed. Any Extreme Dimensions, Inc. product that has been modified or altered from its original manufactured state.

Universal Hood Pins

Easy installation. Could have came with a little bit better screws because they twist it off as soon as I start to screw them in. Other than that all good.

Great Pins!

The pins are beautiful! And very durable, comforting me as I had to cut my latch off to fabricate the hood correctly. Definitely a recommend product.
