Equal-i-zer Hitches & Parts

A brand of Progress Mfg., Equal-i-zer refers to the Original Equal-i-zer Sway Control Hitch, designed to make towing a trailer safe and comfortable. Formerly known as Lindon Hitch, Inc., Equal-i-zer got a new name in 2004, when the facilities were moved from Lindon to Provo, Utah. This hitch design was introduced over 50 years ago and is still built in the USA. It was named Gold Winner for Trailer Hitches for several years in a row.

The company is continuously striving to move forward and be innovative in its activities, and the success of Equal-i-zer’s Integrated 4-Point Sway Control system speaks for itself. The unique system of weight distribution and reliable sway control all-in-one, designed to almost eliminate the risk of any sway problems caused by wind, passing vehicles, etc., is used by thousands of customers, 99% of which would recommend the Equal-i-zer hitch to other people.

This sway control hitch is simple, ready-to-use, easy-to-use, and absolutely safe, while quick and easy installation, adjustment, and hitch up are its great advantages. The very special thing about it comparing to competitors’ products is the Equal-i-zer weight distribution hitch system which creates something like a bridge between a vehicle and a trailer and allows them work like one single unit instead of two. That gives safe and easy distribution of the trailer’s weight equally to all tow vehicle’s axles. Equalizer hitch parts are easily accessible, so if any of its components is broken, it can be found and replaced easily.

One of the Best!
This is one of the best performing WDH units in the RVing. When you consider price, it is the best. Installation is a breeze, and the instructions give you step by step for initial setup. Changing tension isnt as easy as with a chain link unit, but it is rock solid and reliable. Besides, once you get it set right, no reason to adjust it unless something serious weight-wise happens in the trailer. Shipment was fast, and the packaging was excellent. Everything arrived well wrapped and protected.
