Product Details

Universal EAS™ Sensor Input Starter Cable (98602) by Edge®. The Expandable Accessory System (EAS) was created with future expandability in mind. The architecture of the EAS allows users to connect multiple accessories, daisy-chain style, to the monitor. The ability to daisy-chain multiple accessories using the EAS allows users to monitor and display dozens of parameters on a single device. This starter cable allows the monitor or programmer to connect to the EAS line of accessories like the EAS Universal Input, PN 98605. In order to use any EAS accessories, a Starter Cable Kit is required. Some EAS skus include a Starter cable.

Customize your CS or CTS and make it your own personal monitoring center with the Edge Expandable Accessory System (EAS). While the central computer on most newer vehicles provides information about coolant temperature, battery voltage, and other standard instrumentation, you may wish to customize your display with other info your vehicle does not show. Because the CS and CTS are equipped to read and display virtually any information that can be provided to them, you can run sensors to read psi for an aftermarket turbocharger or supercharger. If your vehicle is not equipped to take air temperature readings from the intake manifold or outside air temperature, you can hook your own sensors up to do just that. Or take fluid temperature readings of differential gear oil, transmission fluid, or even battery temperature. The possibilities are endless. Edge Products offers custom-fitted sensors designed for reading pressure, contained temperature, and outside ambient air temperature.

The EAS Starter Cable allows users to connect multiple accessories, daisy-chain style, directly to the CS / CTS monitor unit. Two input jacks come standard on this cable end, and each additional connection available from Edge also features two input jacks. 2020 Silverado z71 6.6l GAS!
So like it says 2020 Silverado 6.6l gas ... thats right gas.. I waited 2 years for a tuner to come out but wHen it finally did it was so worth it. This has been a grest tuner for me for the last 3 months. The truck has incredible power but was sluggish well this CTS3 and Pulsar. lt turned my truck into a ripper, it puts a smile on my face everyday.

Glad I Bought This Programmer
Easy to install and use. Excellent display and menu. Driving in economy mode and it works great. Haven't tried other modes yet, but already noticed significant power gains, better acceleration, and firmer shifting. 100% recommend!

I drive around with this set at tow with mds off. I had it in economy mds off for a long time. Thats just not fun and I did not see any mpg increases, so now I am driving in smiles increases. It definitely makes a noticeable difference in the driving.

CTS2 with a 2016 6.7 Cummins
The product itself is great but the capabilities are not worth the price. If you are not going to fully delete your truck this is the way to go, but if you want to build it and tune it this is not what you are looking for. Edge provides no custom tunes for this product. After being told this I went to EZ Lynk with EFI live and it is 100 times better for just about the same price, and it comes with free custom tuning, your own technician, and wireless control.

Worth the Money
Had it a few weeks, went from 9 mpg on my 5.7 hemi with 35s to 16 mpg around town in economy mode, worth the money.

2017 GMC Sierra
Forget about updating an Edge tuner if you own a Mac. You have to go find a Windows PC. Apple computers have being top rated for the last 10 years. Still no compatibility. So I got a Windows PC, downloaded the software to update the unit. I’ve updated it 3 separate times & plugging it into my truck. After 3 times playing this game (borrowing a laptop) the edge cts2 still has the tune option locked. The unit says it still needs to be updated. Now I have to call Edge for tech support!! Wtf? Spent $600 on a tuner I was hesitant to but anyway (due to all the issues people seem to have, and the same issue with Diablo tuners).

Evolution
Works great, beyond expectations, haven't checked the mileage gains yet, having to much fun with performance. Not to difficult to install if you follow instructions to the letter!
