Product Details

Bluestuff NDX Formula Racing Brake Pads by EBC®. This is a set of replacement brake pads that is designed for heavy-duty racetrack driving where high-performance multi-piston calipers are used. Pads feature two grooves for cooling, vibration-balancing weights on backing plates, triple-strength chemical bonding between pad and backing plate, and a higher friction surface than Yellowstuff race pads. Organic aramid fiber compound provides a high level of grip at extremely low and high operating temperatures. Safe for normal and aggressive street driving.

Installation

While EBC Yellowstuff™ brake pads are designed for racetrack use with standard OE brake calipers, Bluestuff™ pads are designed to provide an even higher level of performance for the racing enthusiast who owns a vehicle equipped with superior multi-piston, high-performance brake calipers. Bluestuff™ NDX Formula Racing Brake Pads are formulated to take the extra squeezing power of multi-piston calipers and make the most of it, offering massive levels of grip when you need to scrub off speed fast. And while these brakes will let you stop on a dime from triple-digit speeds, you will also be impressed with their gradual and progressive application that makes them easy to live with and use on the street. Bluestuff™ pads come designed for grip the minute you put them on your vehicle with a rougher, heat-scorched top layer for the best initial mating with new or worn brake rotor surfaces. Once the pads have been fully broken in, the grip they are known for is available at all times whether the brakes are cold on an icy morning or hot during an endurance race.

The organic aramid fiber construction of Bluestuff™ pads resists heat buildup that plagues inferior pads, so you won't have to compensate for reduced effectiveness after brake fluid gets hot enough to boil in the lines. And Bluestuff™ pads are designed to hold together under extreme, heavy use. Instead of using rivets to secure pad material and backing plate together, Bluestuff™ pads use an additional layer between the two in order to form a strong chemical bond that provides three times the resistance of pad separation or shear. Four balancing weights built in to the backing plates of Bluestuff™ pads ensure high-frequency vibration is cancelled out to eliminate squealing noise.

Best Brakes By Far
Fitment was perfect on these brakes. The brakes catch very nicely they are slightly squeaky for the first couple of days which is expected as they need to wear in. Couldn't be happier highly recommend.

EBC-Bluestuff Racing Brake Pads
I drive a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 at the race track. The platform is on the heavier side in regards to weight so normal brake pads experience fade with prolonged use. Solution? EBC Bluestuff Brake Pads! These pads are second to none! I experienced zero brake fade and insane stopping power. If you plan to track your vehicle, buy these pads! Installation was straightforward and quick.

EBC Brake Pads for 07 Charger RT
Stop really well, easy to put on, but when I first took them out for a drive really bad sounds, and then they went away with time. But after a while, I still notice a squeal but maybe they just need to be broken in more as advised through the research I did on them. Only time will tell. So overall, I give these brakes a 3 out of 5, but another star when I brake these pads in.

EBC is the Best Choice
A few years ago, I purchased EBC performance rotors and brake pads from AnythingAuto for my 2015 Honda Odyssey. I initially replaced the factory rotors with Power Stop rotors, but they wore out within a few months. That’s when I came across EBC during my search for better options. After reading several positive reviews, I decided to try their products, and I was honestly impressed. I went with the "duty" pads, and they provided serious stopping power, which is crucial for a large vehicle like the Odyssey. The performance was noticeably better than anything I had used before. Fast forward to my 2020 Toyota 4Runner. My factory rotors started going bad around 50,000 miles. This time, I ordered EBC rotors from CARiD. The items arrived in good packaging, although I was a bit surprised that no stickers or extras were included. Installation was straightforward and easy. I’ve driven about 2,500 miles since the install and so far everything has been great.mostly driven 90% highway and with quick breaking , No issues with braking performance or vibration. I recommend this .

Much Better Than OEM
These rotors perform much better than OEM. I warp my OEM rotors after just a few weeks. After breaking these in, i drove hard and felt no pulsating or vibration. Also these rotors are 33mm thick compared to OEM 30mm. So they absorb heat better. I like the anti-corrosion coating on it as well.

Too Soon To TellL.....
Used these on another vehicle ( 2001 T&C AWD minivan) to stop 'warping' and they never warped again!!! So far on this vehicle ( 2016 Fusion) they work great. A little noisy. Wasn't expecting that. The van never had that. But I also changed front & back on the Fusion. Will review in a bout a year to see if they warp...:)

Absolute Garbage
Item has visible rust in the dimples and slots and I literaly had it in the back of my truck under a tonnue cover for one week inside of the box! Condensation during the morning seems to have ruined the silver finish. Looks like complete a** and I'm furious as hell, what the sh*t am I to expect if it's on my actual vehicle exposed to the elements all year round?

No Need For Drilled And Slotted
I ordered the EBC rotors for my 2004 Toyota Tundra and received them promptly and in good condition. It was packaged excellently, showing no damage from shipping and no use of nasty plastic packaging. Plain and simple in a cardboard box with packing paper. The rotors bolted right up, and because they are not drilled or slotted by some crappy manufacturer I expect them to hold up well for a long time. The drilled and slotted phase is a hoax, just look up Formula One brakes and you will see what I mean.
